Beijing

You will be welcomed at the airport by your driver and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a first discovery of the city by sidecar through the old city centre’s narrow alleys where you can observe the local inhabitants carrying on their lives. Then you’ll go back to your hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Today you will visit some of the main sites: the Temple of Heaven, Tian’Anmen Square and the Forbidden City. In the end of the afternoon, enjoy a walk in Jingshan park where you’ll get an impressive panoramic view on the Forbidden City and Beijing Opera.

This morning your driver will take you to the Great Wall, this impressive wall running through China from the West to the East. A few sections of the wall are open to visits, so depending on your health condition and preferences, we’ll suggest you different options.

For your last day in Beijing you will visit the Summer Palace and beautiful park in the north of the city. This afternoon you’ll visit the Lama and Confucius temples, both located in the city centre’s hutongs. After these visits you can enjoy some free time walking around in the nearby hutongs before going to your cooking class in a classic Chinese courtyard.
