Trip to Yellow Mountain itinerary

A few days roaming around the authentic Anhui countryside before heading up to the Yellow Mountains.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Huangshan – Bishan

This morning you’ll take your flight or train to Huangshan. Upon arrival you’ll be transferred to Bishan village to check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the area at leisure.

Day 2: Bishan – Xidi – Hongcun

Today you will start your exploration of the Huizhou villages. You will discover Xidi and Hongcun villages, both part of the UNESCO World heritage. Stroll around their alleys and old courtyard houses where the time seems to have stopped.

Day 3: Bishan – Huangshan

This morning, transfer by car to the Yellow Mountain. You will start the ascension of the mountain partly thanks to the cable car and explore its numerous paths. You will spend the night at the top of the mountain.

Day 4: Huangshan – Bishan

Get up early this morning to admire the sunrise on the mountains. Then you’ll walk down to meet your driver and drive back to Bishan.

Day 5: Bishan – Tangyue – Chengkan

Today, you will visit the peaceful villages of Tangyue and Chengkan. Stroll through those ancestral houses and special arches before your transfer back to the train station.
