From there, why not go for a trek in the jungle, or on a boat trip on the Mekong river (a great way to reach Laos to continue your trip). On the other side, Bangkok will surprise you with its faster pace and density of population. But it is also a city full of history that deserves to be explored. You’ll find its own charm to the city. Cycling is a great way to discover the area: in the flat countryside surrounding Bangkok, you’ll get to experience its rural side, fields and villages.
